There will be a 90% chance it will return within 1-D4 hours, but if attacked again, it will vanish, never to return. G.M.:If one can win initiative with a Spirit Messenger and manage to capture or strike it in a single round, it is possible. As explained later, it is much better to listen to what a Spirit Messenger has to say, rather than attempt to capture or destroy it (of course this is strictly to the decision of the players).

Note --------- : A Spirit Messenger will appear for a reason (discretion of the G.M.). It will deliver an important message to one or more of the adventuring group and then, having fulfilled its purpose, depart. The message delivered will be significant for one or more of the adventuring group, and will benefit them accordingly.

 

A Spirit Messenger could appear and warn of a danger, reveal the general location of something of significance to the quest, or plead for his or her body to be laid to rest. The possibilities of the message this creature will deliver are endless, and will be created and delivered by the G.M.
